    turning the corner?

That's 2 solid games in a row now. Fleury seems to be pulling it together, and the defense is doing a better job at insulating him.

The stars are scoring, but as usual there is a need for some more secondary scoring.

It's gonna be great to get Staal back, hopefully he doesn't need to full 6 weeks they were projecting.

Here's to hoping this team is getting used to playing with each other finally. They have a lot of new faces in and out of the lineup, it's understandable it might take a little bit of time to get them all on the same page.

Let's hope the keep running with this mini hot streak and get it together!

How about flower today against the sens. 43 saves on 44 shots i believe. That makes him 7-0-1 in his last 8 starts . Pens getting their groove on it looks like. Long way to go though, so nothing to be relaxing and satisfied with.

Cause we all kno the REAL season starts when u start to play the same team multiple games in a row...

    GO PENS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flower's turnaround has been nothing short of remarkable.

For as bad as he looked losing 6 out of his first 7 starts (and getting pulled in his 8th start, which Johnson ended up pulling out in O.T.), he's looked so good winning the next 7 out of 8 (and getting a point in his only loss during that stretch, since that game went to O.T.).

Kunitz and Dupuis are starting to resemble legit wingers for Crosby over the last couple of weeks. Steigy and Bob made sure to note on multiple occasions how good Kennedy, Letestu, and Conner look out there together. If they keep that up, we may have to sit Comrie, Rupp, and Godard most nights once Staal gets back, rolling with the following lineup:

    Dupuis-Crosby-Kunitz
    Malkin-Staal-Cooke
    Kennedy-Letestu-Conner
    Asham-Adams-Talbot
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

    Re: turning the corner?

Pens won there 7th in a row tonight wit ha 3-1 win over the NY Rangers. Game really could have been a lot worse with quite a few 2 on ones and 3 on two for the pens but none the less, besides that one shot from the circle that got by flower, he played well again. The Pens as a whole r playing good hockey and that shows with there record in the last ten games ( 9-0-1 )

Ill say it again though, a long way to go befor u can go ahead and lift Lord Stanleys Cup but I am very excited for the rest of the season with wut they have shown in the last couple of weeks+...

    GO PENNSS!!!!

Two straight Hat Tricks on home ice for the Greatest Player on the Planet. Sick. Just plain sick.

We allow our power play QB to take his talents to Ottawa's blue line, and we manage to improve upon our overall scoring by defensemen (24 points for Letang, 13 for Goligoski, 12 for Martin, 6 for Orpik, 5 for Michalek, 4 for Engelland, 2 for Lovejoy, and 1 for Hutchinson).

Fleury has transformed into an absolute beast between the pipes over the last month.

    That is all.
