Maybe it scared them last week when Ben tried to take it in and said that it felt like they broke his arm? IDK- but isn't 1st and goal inside the one the very reason Redman is even on the team?

Redman always gets a hard yard when he lines up as the HB.

I also thought a sneak should have been tried on 1st down.

Not calling a QB sneak on first down was Horrendous!!!

Not running outside on 2nd or 3rd down was Horrendous!!!

BA just loves the patented RUTFM!!!!!

BA is flat-out the most horrendous OC the Steelers
have ever paid at that position.

But wasn't the game-plan just awesome....

They came out scared, played scared, and never even
thought of using the no-huddle to change it up.

I thought Collinsworth was referring to the fact that Ben hadn't worked the no huddle with a lot of the guys on his line, and some newer recievers like Sanders. Not that Ben wasn't prepared to do it. That, coupled with the crowd noise made a lot of sense as to why it wasn't in there.

The reason they didn't run no huddle is because Bruce Arians was on his game last night! He's simply the best........

While I am a big Mendenhall fan, I feel that Redman is a better short yardage back....Sure they ran him on first down as the full back with no lead blocker...No one new that was coming..

How about put in the big package with a big TE in the backfield and let Redman pound it up the middle with a lead blocker.

I just don't see them stopping Redman 3 downs in a row...I just don't get it.

The first goal line play was blown up because Max Starks allowed his man to crash down the line and get into the backfield.

The second and third plays had Johnson as the lead back, but he didn't really put a helmet on anyone and the defensive line of the Saints stalemated the offensive line of the Steelers leaving no one for Johnson to hit really and thus allowing pursuit to get to the ball carrier.

Interestingly enough I think they were going hurry up when Miller fumbled. If you watch that play Ben was running down the field following. In fact he might have gotten in on the tackle or was close to it.

Cant they ever throw the ball in these situations?? If every time they run or at least 90% of the time dont you think the other teams knows this??
