    Heroes and goats.

    127 Yards of offense ain't gonna cut it consistently. ARE had one catch for 0 yds. Punt returns?

    Punt Returns NO AVG TD LG
    A. Randle El 3 4 0 7
    A. Brown 1 21 0 21

    Let's save ARE for emergency QB and let the young boys play please.

    Defense: Awesome-7 TOs. Timmons was a beast....again.

    It's kinda hard to analyse any WR preformance while Dennis Dixon is the starting QB- inconsistant in his throws, making it hard for WR's to really shine. Once Ben is back, you'll get a better idea of how each is playing.

    ARE dropped a first-down in the second half (3rd qrtr)? Low but catchable, even the announcers said so.

    Goat = Arians

    Heroes = Sylvester, Brown, Sepulveda, The D

    Yeah, apparently I'm not the only one who wants to bench ARE. Bring on Sanders and give him and Brown some reps on offense. Geez, ARE is not returning, catching or blocking. Sit him DOWN!!!

    It seems like Tomlin is using ARE on punt returns the way that Moore was often used last year. ARE is used when he wants absolute assurances that the ball will be secured; Brown is used when there is an opportunity to make a play with less risk.

    Given the qb situation right now, I have no problem with the risk adverse strategy.

    Actually, ARE bobbled a punt in the Atlanta game. One could argue that with the QB sitcheation we should be trying to maximize field position.

    With the QB situation, you don't want to have errors on STs relying on young players. They are doing this correctly. Work the young kids in slowly. We are 2-0 do to a lack of mistakes. What comes from exposing kids to the whole 60minutes? Alot of mistakes. They appear to know what they are doing.
    Winning yesterday and befuddling the Titans offense and completely caving in another underage QB (Ryan and now Young) was incredible. Hard to question the coaching staff's handling of things.
    By the way, did anyone see what Ryan and Atlanta did to Pittsburgh lite (Arizona). Yikes, total dismantling of them really shows how good our D has been for 2 games.
    Hopefully they don't run out of steam.

    Agree, IF the veteran is performing. ARE is not performing and hasn't for a coupla years.
