Trying to think about my biggest mistake, there are a few.
Starks is better than I thought he would be. I've softened my stance there.
Currently, I'm not buying the Summers thing.

Agreed on Summers. Can't see what he really brings to the table. Use Johnson or McHugh at FB. We already cut Carey Davis; I can't see that Summers is even as good as he was.Originally Posted by aggiebones
My biggest mistake was Maurice Clarett...we know how that worked out. As for Steelers, I thought Bell would be the an All Pro fixture in our D for years.
Trolls are people too.
i'll fess up on lendale white. i bought the "next jerome bettis" hype. although i was more on the joe staley bandwagon that year (i think).
I thought Bruce Arians would be good.

I once thought that Jon Kuhn would be our starting FB for at least 5 or 6 seasons.
I almost bought into the the reason our defense sucked was because Troy and Aaron were hurt. Wrong!!! We have serious issues in stopping the dinking and dunking passing game and don't seem to have any idea how to fix the problem.
"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"
I overestimated (Republicans feel free to use the Bush term, "misunderestimated") the development of our young WRs. I still think that Brown and Sanders have potential and should be on the 53, but neither gets off the line well, and neither comes back to the ball and fights for it. They will benefit from time in the wight room. Wallace? He's still in my real deal bin.
I figured it wouldn't take but a year for Anthony Smith to un-seat Ryan Clark and that Kordell Stewart would get us a couple of rings.
