If true, Vikings go from contenders to .500. But we all know he's changing his mind.

I admit that I wanted him to play more. I was hoping that he would bring the Lombardi to the Twin Cities.

But, now that he said this it had better be true. If not, it would be over the edge.

I was just about to start a thread on this-

Which QB do the Steelers trade to the Vikes??

I'm a big Dixon fan- but he likely has the most trade value.

He's got to be better than jackson.

Give him one start in pre-season, and get as much as you can from Minn.

I know we all want what's good for the Steelers but Dixon has not done anymore then Jackson. So, I reach the conclusion that he may be no better or worse then Dixon. At least Jackson knows the Vikes system. I don't believe they would get much for Dixon anyway. Unless a deal is too good to pass up, I don't believe the Steelers trade Dixon. He has more value this season as a back up/potential starter till Ben returns.

I believe if the Steelers trade anyone it will be Batch.

I'm so sick of this every year, make the best of it my best friend is a die hard Favre fan. In his eyes he can do no wrong.

I agree play or don't play just be a man and if you want to play get your a$$ in camp like all the other players, don't walk in after the 3rd Pre Season game and say "Bretts here!!!"

    Give me a break!!!

I hope he means it for real this time. But if it is true and for good, I will miss him.
He was fun and great to watch. Really enjoyed watching him play.
He is like a LB in a QB body. Tough a nail!
Thanks for the memories Brett Favre...

Sage Rosenfels will be the starter. Jackson is the back up.

I hope Favre really means it this time. I'm sick of this going on every year.

they wouldnt get much for him. one game against the ravens last season and one preseason start this season isnt a whole lot to go on in evaluating dixon. matt cassell had an entire season to show what he was capable of.

I never understood the acclaim for Favre. He has a career 86 passer rating, and he's lost as many games with untimely interceptions as he's won with miracle comebacks. Gunslinger, yes. HOF QB? Not if it depends on my vote.
