How I had hoped our OL would work out

Before the Colon injury I was in the group of people that thought Justin Hartwig may lose his starting center position and thought our Oline could look like this:

    Starts
    Kemo
    Pouncey
    Legursky
    Colon

That would have given us an awfully young interior Oline but what I felt would be the most talented and perhaps the strongest physically.

Now with Colon out for the year it may be prudent for the Steelers to leave Hartwig in, Pouncey at Guard and then either an veteran FA at Right tackle or let Essex, Foster, Hills, etc fight it out at training camp with Legursky the backup interior lineman.

    I was hoping for:

    Starks
    Kemo
    Pouncey
    Urbik
    Colon

I think Hills needs to step it up or it's bye bye time. He has had 2 years to learn and now we need the return on our investment.

C'mon Tony, show the people why the Front Office selected you.

With injuries to Colon and Hartwig being out, there's definitely an opportunity for some longer looks at younger guys. In a way, this offseason is making training camp one of the most interesting in a while.

We're really on the verge of seeing a real Mike Tomlin team.

I guess 'hoping for' and being realistic are 2 different things.

Realistically before Colon went down we were looking at:

    Starks
    Kemo
    Hartwig
    Essex/ Pouncey/ Foster
    Colon/ Essex

    Now, it could be:

    Starks
    Kemo
    Hartwig
    Foster/ Pouncey
    Essex/ FA
