    Ben is looking slimmed down

Just seen a clip off of ESPN.com. Ben is looking nice a slim, he was getting pudgey for a bit. Looking good out there.

First post here, came over from the other board.

I hope he is slimming down. Because he was looking very fat for a QB.
Too much partying will do that. Time that he takes responsibilty and do
more offseason workouts. Including watching game films. His play will be under
the microscope this season. His play and how he handles all the tortures
he rightfully will be getting in other stadiums. Time to man up boy!

Here is Ben from TC last year. Notice how he looks fatter in the face but the rest of him doesn't?

It's because of the accident. And also the fact that he's not 20 anymore. Ben is a big man and is in fine shape for the position he plays and the way he plays it.

People see his face on TV and think he's fat. He's not.

Yep I received this Tweet from Wexell a few hours ago

Ben in much better shape than a couple months ago. Rusty passing, as expected. Didn't talk to media.

Or in the case of LenDale White, less tequila.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

    Said this before...

Ben is not a bodybuilder. Has his appearance or weight EVER affected his play? If anything, maybe a few extra pounds here or there has saved him from even more injuries.

Brady Quinn is a bodybuilder trying to play quarterback. Would you guys rather have him???

    Didn't think so.

Neither is Casey Hampton. His weight never effected his play. His conditioning for training camp might have suffered a little. But not his play during the regular season. The perception outside looking in is that Hampton did not care. Or train to stay in shape.
This is the same perception people will perceive with Big Ben. Especially coming off yet another offseason of drama.

Here he is from the presser in the locker room not that long ago.

Notice the prominent lack of a stomach.

    Fat indeed.
