most of us would love to have a quality conversation about any aspect of our team. I've argued for and against the virtues of ben as a player and ben as a person. Every one of us on this board has a unique perspective that facilitates interesting and thought provoking threads...
BUT we are steeler fans. we've booed bradshaw, gossiped about the gay rumors of kordell stewart, and we all smiled when hines bloodied Woodsons mouth. So what I'm trying to say is--- if you come in running your mouth, being confrontational and don't offer anything to the board, you will be ridiculed, labeled and shunned. I personally would like to hear your thoughts and would like to debate them with you.

Lost among the stupid comments and useless banter is the fact that Ben is doing what he needs to do and will hopefully get past this and back to the team sooner rather than later.

What Ben is going through is not a joke. It is a life defining phase in his life. I think anyone who is really a Steelers fan hopes and prays he gets this right for both him and the team.

Personally, I am betting that Ben gets on the right side of this and moves forward in his life in a positive manner. As the saying goes, "That which does not kill you, makes you stronger."

Call it bashing if you want. I call it the TRUTH. You have a problem with the truth I see. When Ben starts making strides on his own THEN I will applaud him. Right now my franchise is a laughingstock because of his actions. IF you are ready to forgive and forget that is your opinion, I on the other hand am not. I'm a STEELER fan, I consider the OTHER guys on the team that have to go around with this baggage because of the actions of ONE GUY. Other players have to be ridiculed because of his bad decisions.
