Clark sounds like he's got his head on pretty straight. Didn't take any of the media scum bait, and sort of put them back in their place with very coherent sounding answers.

    Thanks for posting!

Clark: I've never seen an athlete so calm and so confident before competing.

stlrz d: That's one of the things that makes him so special.

Clark: We're independent contractors...what Ben does doesn't affect us.

Clark: I don't care if people don't come to OTA's as long as they can do their job when they show up.

Yes...it was nice to hear it from the athlete and teammate's perspective.

Clark has always been very articulate and his sound bytes tend to be very well thought out.

Nice interview. My respect for this guy went up further.

I'm glad he's a Steeler. Although, you have to remember these are his opinions; I believe that some players on the team aren't looking at this as benignly as Ryan Clark. I don't know that I would be able to look at it in a similar fashion as Clark. I wouldn't feel betrayed, but I would fell that Ben is putting the team second with these types of situations.

It may not be right, but you can forgive it once, but the second time in a year and after a particularly disappointing season it would be difficult for me to be as level headed as Clark, good for Clark.

Hey Doogie36, it's a video, so I don't know how to cut and paste it, sorry. Anyone else know how to embed this or anything?

They really tried to pin him with a few of those questions. He answered them directly and avoided alienating a teammate. Well done.

Good to know Ben gets support from the best free safety in football. That's got to count for something, right?
