Now that you mention it, that reminds me...compensatory draft picks are untradeable (but they do make it easier for you to trade your other regular picks).Originally Posted by Iron Shiek

Now I can finally think about the possibility of potentially getting up enough nerve to consider planning on attempting my first ever mock draft.

another AA/AS original.
It also helps to have someone who wants to trade with you. That is the problem with all the "proposed" trades we see. Very few people will want to give up draft picks or position.Originally Posted by RuthlessBurgher
The interesting dynamic this year is the three day format where you have two overnights to wheel and deal. The number of trades may increase because of that.
Playing Fantasy Football does not qualify you to be the in the front office or on the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are professionals and you are not!
That's an excellent mock draft.Originally Posted by MeetJoeGreene

The Steelers 2, 3, and 5 could potentially be enough to get them into the back end of the first round. I can't ever remember the Steelers wheeling and dealing to get a second 1st rounder, but I also don't remember them ever being this active in FA.
And with a potential lockout next year, maybe they want to get a second elite player to have gotten some game time in before the 2012 season. I know there's still a 2011 draft, but without a season to play and show what they got...there's gonna be a lot of doubt heading into 2012 unless some guys can prove this season they are capable players.
