    I must have ESP because three days ago I was thinking to myself, I have a feeling we are going or Randle El is going to be interested in returning to the Steelers. No Joke.

    Best news today and also just learned on this post that Clark has resigned. Wee Hoo !

    Now we can have Randle El telling the guys, he should have remained a Steeler and the money didn't make him as happy as being a Steeler. If you love your job you'll never work a day.

    Maybe he will be another special teams TD maker ?

    I'd say yes,..seeing as how Logan is taking up roster space simply as a return specialist and basically gives us nothing in terms of playing receiver or RB. But i must admit that like you i'm a little weary of just how much ARE has left. (Though i'm probably happier about his (Twan's) resigning than i have been since we brought Bussey aboard)

    I'm not sure I understand this signing. I know ARE is a good community guy & good dude in the locker room, but in terms of on-field production, I don't quite see what this signing does for us. I was a fan when he was here, but that was years ago, he's not getting any younger, & his performance in Washington wasn't anything to get excited about. I was going to say he's just an old Mike Wallace, but Wallace is a better WR than El ever was.

    Playing Fantasy Football does not qualify you to be the in the front office or on the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are professionals and you are not!

    I for one am PUMPED for the ARE signing. You guys who say what can he do for us???? REALLY???? Do we not remember 2005??? I know that was many years ago BUT......Do we not remember him passing to Hines Ward in the Cleveland Game??, The Bengals Playoff trick play and then again in the Super Bowl???? Forget the returns from that year those wont matter or wont be needed this year. But lets think here as I always do with our offense. What is Arians famous for???? What do we all remember him from???? The Tommy Maddox playoff come from behind win against the Browns??? The game where Arians spread out 4 WR's and was beating the crap out of us with the passing game of who again???? Who were those WR's and QB???? I dont even remember........but wasn't it ARIANS who did that???? Again maybe i'm wrong and it doesnt matter............But picture this if you will........HOLMES, WARD, ARE, and WALLACE with MENDENHALL in the backfield..............EL in MOTION FOR A REVERSE, SAFETY COMES UP TO PLAY THE REVERSE, Mendenhall and EL play the fake reverse to perfection and who is all alone down the field for a bomb??? WALLACE......if he's covered you dont think WARD or Holmes are open underneath???? What does ARE do for us???? He just changed how EVERY defense will have to prepare for our team now...........the BOLDIN signing doesnt even do that for the Ravens....Boldin is no big threat like that or have that option to his game, we double him and end of story to Boldin BIG DEAL....but........ARE as our number 4???? I'm in HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!! Decoy!!!! DECOY!!! and DECOY!!!!!!! that's what Randel El can do to our game!!!!!!! This gives our HORRIBLE OFFENSE according to many of you so many more options and packages!!!!!!!! I would not want to face this offense now.....No damn way............Randel El was never going to be a 1-2 guy but a number 4???? OH YEAH...OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ARE doesn't really return KOs either. Logan will likely stay unless we draft a KR or find someone else to do it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but CJ Spiller is beginning to look like a real possibility. I still think OL, ILB, and CB are the priorities. But, Spiller might be BPA and could be used immediately as a KR and change of pace back. I'm also thinking Brandon Graham is a possibility. That would help keep our pass rushers fresh and Harrison could play more special teams.
    Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.
