Yeah, but it is hard to blame him when you look at the heist Starks pulled on the team.

It is a reality in the world that paying attention to "what the other guy got" will only lead you to frustration-

but man, it would be hard to ignore those kind of dollars- particularly when you beat out that same player for his position.

I dont agree. He's actually right. The San Diego Chargers are in desperate need of a tackle. At ,#28 what do you think they are going to get?? A sure thing? Not hardly. Signing a descent starting RT (A super Bowl Champion RT), for that amount of money is a sure thing and a smart one as well.

I said this very thing could happen a few weeks ago.

According to this website (a very good website) and the stats, Colon is one of the top tackles in the league and the top RT in the league.

Why people consistently undervalue Colon is beyond me. Who is going to replace him if he is signed somewhere else? You would have to look at drafting a tackle early and that would defeat the purpose of an extra first round pick in my mind.

The smart move is to tender him for the next two years and then franchise him. That way he is under contract for three years at a very good price. He would then come around to signing a long-term deal once he realizes he has very little leverage.

A sleeper team to look at is the Patriots. They have a ton of picks and Belicheat has said previously how much he likes colon (hehe).
    Here comes the BOOM!

Even if Bill Belichick was getting an atomic wedgie, his face would look exactly the same.

Man I don't know if I trust them stats much? Logan is 1 in on his list. Wood and silverback 1 & 3. The WR list is interesting. And our Guards and center stink! HAHA!

Oh and of course the corners stink! Ike taylor is the man LOL!

Can Ramon Foster be a quality RT? If the team thinks he can then letting Colon leave for a first is a no-brainer.

Profootballfocus also said Dennis Roland is a good pass protector, yet LaMarr Woodley and others treated him like a turnstile...

Re: Colon's Agent Wanting A Trade Offer

The 23.1 rating on pass protection is suspect since everyone else is at least 5 points behind. But if the stats are to be trusted, he did keep Ben clean. 16 sacks/hits/pressures in over 1000 snaps looks like one of the best averages in the NFL. No idea what the run ratings were based on...

Honestly, Colon blows lard butt Essex away. Trai Essex at RT would signal that our Oline is in disarray.
