    Interesting...

Due to Chadbrother's love of the 49ers, Chadman is often 'exposed' to 49er talk & posturing.

With the draft coming up, Chadman is somewhat suprised, but definately interested, to learn that the fans over there feel they require, in no particular order, the following positions of need..

    OT, OG, CB, FS, NT.

Isn't that the exact same positions the Steelers need?

If it rings true, with the 49ers picking 1 spot ahead of the Steelers, could it be that both teams will likely covet the same players? And due to draft order, the Steelers miss the guy they want?

Steelers might need to jumble the draft needs order so that they are not competing for the same targets on draft Day- for example, if the 49ers are after OT in Round 1, the Steelers should look for a CB, or OG, or something other than 'the next best OT'.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

    Light up the darkness.

No, I'd say the Steelers positions of need are FS, ILB, CB, NT, DE...if there are any picks left over then OT or RB. :P

Doesn't mean they value the same players to fill those positions.

    Re: Interesting...

The Niners have two picks in the top 17 before we get our first pick at #18, so they could theoretically nab two guys that we might be interested in.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
