Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

thanks for pointing that out.

The Ravens are pathetic at WR... but bringing in an old azzz TO is lame.
Go get a young guy for goodness sakes... If I'm Flacco I want a few kids I can mentor and hold some power over...
Flacco needs WR's who will listen to what he says...
I lost a bet about Najee gaining 1300 yards.
"Our head coach has failed to win a playoff game for seven years in a row. His game day strategy, culture of divas, in game decisions, clock management, player evaluation, hires, and affinity with sub par starters at RB, P, and OL are holding the Steelers back. That standard remains the standard"
They don't--otherwise they'd already be Bengals!Originally Posted by hawaiiansteel
WHy would the Ravens want TO? The guy dissed them in that time he left SF; seemed that he orchestrated (i.e. played them) his way to Philly. I can definitely see Westbrook. Hell, I'd like Westbrook.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
Ravens 'interested' in Owens
By Scott Brown, PITTSBURGH TRIBUNE-REVIEW
Monday, March 1, 2010
INDIANAPOLIS - Is Terrell Owens coming to the AFC North?
Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has lobbied for Cincinnati to sign Owens, who is an unrestricted free agent after playing one season in Buffalo.
The Ravens, meanwhile, are likely to pursue Owens as early as Friday, when the free-agent signing period begins.
"We're interested in T.O.," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "He had a good year last year, we watched him on tape, and he was very effective."
Owens caught 55 passes for 829 yards and five touchdowns in 2009, his worst statistical season since 2005 when he played only seven games for Philadelphia because of a fallout with Eagles management.
Harbaugh was the Eagles' special teams' coordinator during Owens' tumultuous two seasons in Philadelphia. But he only had positive things to say about Owens' time with the Eagles.
"He was respectful to the coaches and worked hard, and I think everybody had a pretty good relationship with him," Harbaugh said.
The Ravens need help at wide receiver, hence the interest in the 36-year-old Owens.
Harbaugh said he expects Derrick Mason to sign a contract that will keep him in Baltimore for the next couple of seasons.
DICKERON SHINES IN DRILLS
Pitt tight end Dorin Dickerson stood out in the physical drills at the Combine and no doubt improved his draft stock.
Dickerson ran a blistering 4.40 in the 40-yard dash. The West Allegheny High graduate also finished first among tight ends in the vertical jump (43 1/2 inches).
What Dickerson hopes to impress upon to teams is that he can play tight end even though he may be undersized after measuring 6-1 and weighing in at 222 pounds at the Combine.
"They're really going to want to see to see if I can actually block, which I can," Dickerson said.
Dickerson, who hopes to increase his weight to 240 pounds, could be used as an H-back, a tight end/fullback hybrid in the NFL.
He is still growing into the position of tight end, having played it only two seasons at Pitt. Dickerson caught 49 passes for 529 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2009.
"It's only a matter of time before I catch on for real and be a good tight end," Dickerson said.
WHALEY NOW LOYAL TO BILLS
As he always does in late February at the NFL Scouting Combine, Doug Whaley kept a tight schedule, watching draft prospects in the various drills held at Lucas Oil Stadium during the day and meeting with them at night.
The one difference this year is that Whaley is a step closer to realizing his dream of becoming an NFL general manager.
Whaley, an Upper St. Clair High and Pitt graduate, left the Steelers less than a month ago to become the assistant general manager in Buffalo.
Whaley had been with the Steelers for 10 years and served as the team's pro scouting coordinator.
"It was one of those opportunities I couldn't pass up," Whaley said of his new job. "I thought it was a competitive challenge for me to take what I've known from the Steelers, a successful organization, and get on the ground floor of an organization that is trying to get to where the Steelers are."

" I know they have Jazz Hands, Suggs and a couple of others but, they don't compare with the Steelers when it comes to bringing in talent, developing talent and drafting talent.
They only seem to recognize talent after a player becomes a big name. When or if they do get the player, it's either because the player is a head ache type or will break the bank to have said player.
Ravens | Harbaugh would have interest in Westbrook
Mon, 01 Mar 2010
Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said he believes free-agent RB Brian Westbrook (Eagles) has a lot left. Harbaugh added, "He's going to have plenty of opportunities to play . . . We'd be interested in Brian Westbrook; I guess I can say that, he's free. We'll just have to see what happens."
