OT - Cleveland is Forbes number one

Worst city to live in. Ohio has five of the top 20.

    Not good.

I was born and raised in Youngstown (#1 and currently live in Philly (#20). I guess things are slowly getting better for me!

The Rust Belt pretty much dominates that list so the pro-union folks should be very proud of this accomplishment.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Dude, that's like blaming the Haitians for the earthquake, or people from Pittsburgh for the closing of the steel plants, or people from South Carolina and upstate NY for the closing of the textile mills. This country has, probably unfortunately, decided it doesn't really want to MAKE anything anymore. It's a lot cheaper for the owners to have the parts made and put together by people who will work for basically nothing, less than we might pay the kid next door to cut our lawn.

I don't think you can blame the people who work for a living, "pro-union folks" for the fact that the economy is global now.

I really don't see what the problem with Youngstown is. The gray clouds block out that
annoying bright yellow thing in the sky, the 60 percent drop out rate reminds us that
"we don't need no education", the pot holes deter drive by shootings, and the jobless
rate does nothing more than encourage entrepreneurship. Did I mention it's fugging
cheap to live here. You can by a decent house for less than what it cost to build in 1930.

I lived in Cleveland for 3 years. It was the three worst years of my life...and I'm not kidding. Cleveland is a hole.

I'm shocked that no one posted the hastily-made Cleveland tourism videos here yet.

I think the second attempt is funnier, though.

"It's so polluted that all our fish have AIDS"
"Flats look like a Scooby Doo ghost town"
"Our economy is based on LeBron James"
"Buy a house for the price of a VCR"

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
