By all means, bringing him in for a look can't hurt.

I am a bit surprised at the news. Coming out of school everyone seemed to think Schmitt was a prototypical FB who could also catch much like John L Williams.

Wow...Walter Jones too. Guess injuries caught up to the big fella. Quite a career.

I agree that Schmitt is worth a look (he is kind of the combo FB that Arians seems to like, as opposed to a solely blocking FB like Kreider or Lester).

    2.46 TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Washington
    3.97c ILB Shayne Skov, Stanford

5.157 OT James Hurst, North Carolina
5.173c RB Jerrick McKinnon, Georgia Southern
    6.192 CB Walt Aikens, Liberty
    6.215c DE Deandre Coleman, California

Yes. He played TE at WVU also so they could keep him on the field.

I would have drafted him out of WVa. he is a better back up option than Frank Summer and Issac "Preseason hero" Redman. I really hope they bring him in.
Playing Fantasy Football does not qualify you to be the in the front office or on the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are professionals and you are not!
