Personally, I take one bite of the hamburger and distribute the ketchup while chewing.
Once I squeeze all the life out of the ketchup packets, I eat the fries while the hamburger
waits its turn. Then I finish the hamburger.
And then play with the toy.
i go back and forth. Bite of the cheeseburger, then a fry or two....
side note: Pet Peeve # 1,725 = People who cant wait to cram the fries down their gullet. I am talking about the cats that are standing at the counter eating their fries while they wait for the burger. A few more seconds isnt going to kill you; just wait for the entire meal to be prepared, sit down and eat.

I normally like to mix it up, but it depends on where I'm getting a burger. While I very rarely go to a Burger King or McDonalds, I eat the burger first and then the fries. If I'm getting a real hamburger at a place like Burgh's Pizza and Wings in Bridgeville, I like to mix it up.
I'm kinky like that.
I usually cram my fries down my gullet before the burger gets to the counter.
And if I hit the drive through I cram my fries down my gullet before I get home to eat the burger.
