Couple of observations...

What is ftfy?

If anyone defends BA anymore I will correctly call you a pooh-pooh head. He sucks. If anyone says Ben is elite I will call you a Doh-doh head. BA needs a pink slip and Ben needs a kick in the butt. Get in the film room and see how many underneath passes were there, but he didn't take them because of the temptation of the long pass.

This is a leadership issue, IMO.

How can you say Ben didn't take the underneath stuff? The RB's & TE's caught plenty of balls today. You're off-base on this observation.

Lots of YAC makes it look like he didn't.

DJ, 9 passes were caught by the TE's & 5 by the backs. I will agree that in the past Ben didn't like to look underneath, but that wasn't the issue today.

He did in that last td series, but missed quite a few when he chose the long passes that were over thrown.

I'm sitting there at the club pointing this to the people at the table. They were seeing it too.

Am I going back and watching it to prove it? Nope. It is what it is.

Nope.

I am a big fan of Ben, but with that stated let me ask all of you one quesiton since we try to compare Ben to Brady and Manning all the time. Do you think the Pats or Colts have the same type of outcome with those two facing this same Chiefs team?

The only point I am making for those who say Ben isn't in that league is that those two guys likely lite up this team for at least 35 points...

I also thought he did a good job of checking down in this game. He did try to take a couple of strikes down the field, but I think you have to do that to keep the defense honest and keep the secondary from riding up on the LOS etc. You also have to take a couple of chances.
