Who remembers "V"?

In the 80's, the miniseries or whatever it was. My favorite part was when the people ripped their faces off and they were lizards. Wow, what a dumb show, but it was pretty cool anyway.

Apparently ABC is bringing it back, but it looks like its a show rather than a movie. It didn't look as good as the old one though.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else remembered it.

I never actually remembered watching V. However, I do remember the advertisements for it.
As a wimpy kid, it looked kind of scary to me.

The new V looks awesome though, but as a wimpy adult, it looks kind of scary to me.

I remember it and was very typical of 80s Sci Fi.... not good. I think that this new one looks like it has potential. The leader girl with the black short hair looks HOT!!! Watching it just to see her rip off her face... or anything else she'd like to rip off of her body. :P

Yeah it was definitely cheesy and doesn't hold up if watched today...but at the time I loved it. And actually, I'd watch it again if it was on right now for nostalgical (is that a word?) purposes.

I'm not sure about the new one but I'll give it a chance.

I remember the black haired woman eating a live mouse. That was pretty awesome.

But yeah, I remember the series and watched it waaaaaay back in the day.

On the flip side, this is just another reminder of the creative bankruptcy rampant in Hollywood. How many remakes can they do??!?!

I remember the Mini Series and TV show. Marc "Beast Master" Singer, and a young Freddy Kruger (as a sympathic alien to the human resistance) were in the show.

Do you remember when Krueger's alien bonked the earth girl and she got pregant. Will it be an alien or human baby? She goes into labor and out comes...............

Wait, there still more, she having twins!! Out comes the lizard baby. Great Freakin TV.

V scarred the crap out of me as a 3rd grader. I remember when the half alien/half human offspring was born. At first it looked like a normal baby. Then it cried and had a lizard tounge. It freaked me out for a few weeks.
