I agree, but what does that have to do with Eli Manning?Originally Posted by NW Steeler

Oh, and you forgot this:
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
All QB's are game managers. Some manage the game better then others.Originally Posted by Starlifter

As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.
but Go Steelers!!!
He manages to win. By any means necessary. Need me to throw over 40 passes to win a game? Sure. Need me to throw half as many the next week? No problem. Winning is the most important thing, not stats accumulation. As Tomlin said, there are no style points.Originally Posted by BURGH86STEEL

the label "game manager" is really stupid. if one single player has that much control to manage a game than that qb is excellent imo. it never upset me when people called ben a game manager in his first couple of years.
