This team did a phenomenal thing when it added Ryan Clark to the roster. The guy is a competitor and hits like an LB.

...and he definitely has more speed than Hope.

Agreed. Clark does the "running over" instead of being run over.

And they though when Hope left it was Anthony Smith's spot to win........that sure wasn't the case. Even if Smith played better, he still isn't as good as Clark.

Agreed on all acounts. THAT is the Chris Hope I remember.Especially in coverage. Very flat footed and almost always a few steps out of position.
