    Chan Gailey

Who would take him as OC if the Chiefs dump their coaches?

    In a friggin' heartbeat.

"I hate him. Everybody says I'm supposed to be polite when I talk to you all, but I hate him..." "He talks too much, he doesn't make sense, he's fat, he's sloppy, he acts like he's the best thing since sliced bread. He's ugly, he stinks, his mouth stinks, his breath stinks, and basically his soul stinks, too.

    Re: Chan Gailey

Gailey is the last OC we had that I had any faith in whatseover. I gave Arians the benefit of the doubt but I have to agree that he may not be the right fit. Why we never put a FB/TE in front of FWP in the first half yesterday continues to befuddle me.

But don't kid yourself. If a new OC comes in it would not be prudent to blow up the system. Elements of what Arians implemented are sound and enabled Ben to have the best season of any Steelers QB ever.

Trying to totally implement a new offense would IMO be a disaster. I do not want to take the ball out of Ben's hands but I want to see elements of a power run game brought back, particularly a FB (one who can catch). Above all I want the TEs to remain a big part of the passing attack. Who was the OC when Bennie Cunningham was having his great years?
Playing Fantasy Football does not qualify you to be the in the front office or on the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are professionals and you are not!

    ABSOLUTELY!!!

Anyone that doesn't have our offense trying to run out of a 3 TE set would be an improvement. That has to be the dumbest formation to run out of in the history of dumb formations. It is an embarassment that we are last in the league or close to the bottom on 3rd and short situations, especially around the goal line regarding the run.

As for how it would effect Ben.....don't take this the wrong way but....WHO CARES. I never liked the fact that Arians and Ben get together so that Ben can approve the plays that the OC has drawn up. WTF? The OC should be saying "This is what I have drawn up, this is how you are to run it, this is what we will use on Sunday, and if you don't like it, I will find someone that will." Ben is not a coach, nor an offensive guru. (Neither is Arians for that matter.) All this..."we will see how Ben feels about this play is horse sh#t. Someone needs to lay down the law on this offense. This is not Burger King. They can't have it their way. We had an offensive identity that worked. To vear from that was just retarded.

I would love that, my only reservation on Tomlin is that he may not release lame duck coaches. The chin used to be stubborn with crappy players and this guy may be the same with his coaches. I hope and pray that he cuts some of his lame coaches at the end of the season. He's going to be in a big dilemma when the season ends and we actually win it all. That will be a tough one. Time will tell.

I'm in favor of any offensive coordinator whose name does not rhyme with Juice Marions.
