Why no Bowl games on Christmas Day?

This is dumb. There are 34 Bowl games in a 3 week span and not 1 Bowl game on Christmas!!!

Traditionally there was only really two games on Christmas day... The game out in Hawaii (now the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl), and the "Blue-Grey All Star Bowl" (which showcased players from teams that already played or didn't make it to a bowl game, and was played in Mobile Alabama)... Well, they moved the Hawaii Bowl up a day for "holiday purposes" and flat-out dispanded the Blue-Grey game (probably because there were only "second tier players" playing in it)...

... But I agree, I would have liked to see some college ball on Christmas Day... It has actually been this way for a year or two now....
