    Home Field Advantage

Props to the fans for cranking up the decibels yesterday when the defense
    needed to make a stand.

    Jig,
One of the best games I have been to @ Heinz. Ranks up there w/ Pats on Halloween in 04, and Chicago in 2005. It was LOUD!

I was yelling for the fans to "get loud" about as much as I was yelling for the defense
    to "get that ball."

On TV it sounded as though quite a few fans were loudly booing the offense as they went 3-16 on third downs conversions.
Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity

Rightfully so. I call that negative reinforcement.

Good point. The first time I noticed the fan noise on tv was the boo birds.

Our fans often seem to get loud after a big play. Or when we have momentum. But when things aren't going well, it does tend to be quiet.

After the 1st half, I kept thinking to myself the defense has to score.

they put up a boo type performance..

The D was giving them golden opportunities..
I lost a bet about Najee gaining 1300 yards.

"Our head coach has failed to win a playoff game for seven years in a row. His game day strategy, culture of divas, in game decisions, clock management, player evaluation, hires, and affinity with sub par starters at RB, P, and OL are holding the Steelers back. That standard remains the standard"

Appparently, this guy is a vendor! From NFL.com:

PITTSBURGH - DECEMBER 07: Tom Congdon, a Pittsburgh Steelers vender, entertains the crowd by dumping ice water over himself in fifteen degree weather while the Steelers played the Dallas Cowboys on December 7, 2008 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
