Well one thing is for certain, the P*ts are going to throw the ball a lot against us, with the occasional draw thrown in. I imagine it's going to be mostly max-protect out of the shotgun with quick-hitting passes...look for Welker to be the target mostly.
The responsibility of this game will be on how the front 5 plays (D-Line plus the OLBs) - if they do well in flustering Cassell, it'll be a good day for us. But I'm not just saying it's on Harrison & Woodley, the D-Line must push the pocket to keep Cassell from running & picking up cheap yards. I'm hoping that Woodley & Harrison have BIG days, but I think it's going to have to be Woodley against their RT as we all know that Harrison is going to be chipped & held all day. The other key will be how they handle Welker & Faulk. If either of those end up being covered by LBs most of the time, it'll be a long day - unless that LB is Timmons. I would put Troy on Welker all day long & give Timmons the start to match up on Faulk & I think we win both of those match-ups.
Offensively, I believe that passes to Moore must be a big part of the plan as the P*ts don't have anyone who can cover him & it'll keep Ben upright. But I also believe that the long ball is also a key as their safeties aren't that good. I will say that we must, we must, we must run the ball effectively as we can expect to see the P*ts throw the kitchen sink at the O-Line.
