Big Ben misses practice again today

It also looks like Eason and Carey Davis will not be playing Sunday night. I can't remember a time that so many key players have been injured for the Steelers. This is crazy. The Bye Week can't get here soon enough.

but who'da ever thought going into the season that Eason and Davis would be considered "key players"?
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

    but Go Steelers!!!

Hopefully for Ben - just a resting and precaution. Although I do think the lack of reps hurts him.

Davis -- no big deal. I think McHugh can do most things better (catch, block) - just not a running threat.

Lack of Eason means even less depth on the DL. Which could be bad if it is hot and Jax is pounding the ball.

Perhaps Bailey if Woods is good to go. Or Frazier if his injury from the opening kickoff lingers (although all indications so far seem to show that he came out of that fine and the backboard was merely precautionary).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

They can't add him to their practice squad, because he is already on Denver's practice squad. If they wanted to add him to their active roster, though, they could snatch him off the Broncos' practice squad, though.

I wondered if someone picked him up. Thanks for the info.

Yeah it's going to be a long hard fought battle that I believe we lose. Comes a point in time when too many back ups starting turns a team from quality to average or below, and we're pushing the point. 4 games in and we have backups starting for backups. Not good, we got some problems and no back ups worth a darn.
