No...I know played T most of his career...and no it's not out of position. But, I believe his skill set is better suited for G personally.Originally Posted by NKySteeler

...And to a major extent I agree.... I guess I was addressing torchs' "out of position at T" comment.... Damn, just trying to get the majority of the Digest posted!...Originally Posted by ShawnMedGuy

But to be fair, Colon will be more experienced this year, so we'll see. Maybe he'll end up being just fine at RT.![]()
Hey, I actually agree, like I said, to a major extent.... It just seemed wierd to say he was "out of position" at tackle, "semantics", that's all.... Hell, forget it, I'm off on a tangent today anyway....Originally Posted by SteelTorch

Lots of good college tackle become good pro guards. A player can do things against college competition that he just can't do at the pro level. Colon seems to be a powerful blocker, but I think he is a weak pass blocker. Not good for a tackle.![]()
Playing Fantasy Football does not qualify you to be the in the front office or on the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are professionals and you are not!
Simmons signed a very healthy contract extension last year. They will not move him from RG unless he gets Big Ben killed. And, by then, it will be too late.
2013 Draft
1 Ezekial Ansah OLB BYU 65 271 (sky high potential)
2 Khaseem Greene ILB Rutgers 61 241 (cat quick, explosive hitter)
3 Steadman Bailey WR WVU 510 193 (fantastic route runner)
4 LeVeon Bell RB Michigan St 61 230 (Good fit for zone scheme)
5 J. J. Wilcox SS Ga Southern 6 213 (athletic, fluid in coverage)
6 Omoregie Uzzi OG Georgia Tech 63 302 (quick, zone gem)
7 Micah Hyde CB Iowa 6 197 (rangy corner with speed)
7 Vinston Painter OT Virginia Tech 64 305 (athletic OL project)
Yea...but but we have the best back up QB in the NFL! Charlie Batch is the man.Originally Posted by steelblood

At the beginning of the offseason I said myself that the Steelers should have moved Colon into G, and started Max at RT. It would have given the team the most experienced line possible but at this stage I don't wanna see it. One of the biggest problems last year was a lack of continuity, plus a bad anchor at center. I don't wanna see the team start playing around with different combos and such. The team had all offseason to tinker, now it's time to knuckle down and set an OL and let them play together. Please oh please, no more of the juggling act up front.
