MSM, I'd be curious to see this with a relation to "deep balls as a percentage of passes thrown".

I would imagine there would be a fairly direct relation. That two SF QBs are on the list leads me to believe they take a lot of shots downfield.

Doesn't look like a lot of guys who go to RBs appear here...

Sounds about right for last season. Carson overthrew a good number of passes and the receivers gave up on more balls than they should last season. I'm not surprised Carson is on this list...

Really not a whole lot to be learned here. A pass can be overthrown for many reasons; wrong pattern by receiver, miscommunication between receiver and QB, WR misreads the coverage, QB misreads the coverage, QB just plain ol overthows the thing, etc.

I'm assuming this was posted in honor of Palmer being on the list. Carson Palmer given a more stable team situation (less police blotter attention) would be even more productive. That's the FO and Marvin Lewis' issue that they really need to get under control; otherwisse, they will be wasting the best years of Palmer's career reading the police report rather than building a team that can compete in the NFL.

So I've noticed. Still waiting for your reply on the Bill Polian thread you created...
