Steeler Themed Projects

We had a thread on the "other" board about Steeler themed projects. For those of you that forgot or weren't on the board, here is the jeep I customized for armpit jr. for his 2nd birthday last year:

And here is my current project. Its just about done except for the rear fender and some wiring. Which reminds me, I have to put in an order for some helmet decals!

So post some pics of your Steeler projects!!!

Dude, like i said on the other board, that is one sweetarse jeep. After seeing your pics i was going to try and do something similar to my sons power wheels quad-runner thingy but Mrs. Ghetto was not having it. she knew i would botch that thing all to hell...so to appease me we got him a helmet to wear.

You should just go for it with the quad. What's the worse thing that could happen? You basically take the thing apart, paint it and put it back together. Nothing to it really.

And is that a youth size helmet?? Armpit Jr. is gonna be Troy for Halloween and I have to find him a helmet -and a wig

Where'd you get the helmet?

My daughter just turned 3 on Friday and she got a nice pink jeep powerwheels
(she drives like her mother). I remember Armpit Jr's. jeep from last year and I
was thinking about it while my girl was cruising our driveway. I told my wife if
we ever have a boy, I'm definitely turning that pink jeep into a SteelerMobile.

As far as a Steelers themed project for myself, I was having discussions yesterday
about building a corn hole board. But since I'm the most unhandy person in the
history of the world, and have no tools, I'm going to have to recruit some help.

Will Lowe's or Home Depot cut the wood to my specifications? If they do,
I shouldn't have any problems until I need to cut the hole, then I'll have to
find someone with a jigsaw.

I'm not sure about Lowe's but I've seen people getting wood (and even ceramic tile) cut by the "pros" :P at Home Depot. As far as the hole goes, if you're not that familiar with using a jigsaw, jiga , I'd recommend buying or renting a hole saw. I'm not 100% sure Home Depot rents hole saws but I wouldn't doubt it. Its basically a huge bit for your drill and makes cutting perfect holes so much easier. If you've never seen one, here is what it looks like:

See, I told you I didn't know what I was doing. That seems much easier
than a JIG saw. I'll have to ask my father-in-law if he as a hole saw.

If he doesn't do you think it would be cheaper if I rented a half saw instead
of a hole saw?

It'd be much cheaper but twice the work

Or...you can just do this:

http://www.fansedge.com/Pittsburgh-Steelers-NFL-Football-Field-Bean-Bag-Toss-Game_-954495982_PD.html

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
