    Favorite Seasonal Movies

Lately I've found myself purchasing what I call seasonal movies, because I
know I'll watch them at least once a year until I die. Here's a few I can think of
that are a must watch, depending on the season:

    Summer:
Born of the Fourth of July
    The Patriot
    Platoon
    Saving Private Ryan

    Fall:
    Halloween
    Scream
    Nightmare Before Christmas
    Sleepy Hollow
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad

    Winter/Thanksgiving time:
    Home Alone 1 and 2
    Christmas Vacation
    Christmas Story
    Scrooged
    Mickey's Christmas Carol

    Spring:
    Major League
    A League of Their Own

I just purchased "The Year Without a Santa Claus." A claymation classic. How could you not love the antics of Heat and Freeze Miser. My daughter and I are gonna watch that sucker this holiday season.

Whenever I think of John Clayton,I picture this guy:

The only "seasonal" movie that I just have to watch would be A Christmas Story."You'll shoot your eye out, kid."

Christmas Vacation= Goes without saying IMO.

Bad Santa w/Billy Bob Thornthon is excellent. It's been on Comedy Central in the past and I have never seen so much editing for TV as I have for this movie.

Wildcats and Rudy are must watch movies at the beginning of football season.
Necessary Roughness is a good one too.

Necessary Roughness sucks compared to Major League, though. They obviously tried to capitalize on how good Major League was by doing a football version, but is it ever a good thing to include Sinbad in your cast?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
