On ESPN they reported that the NFL Rules Commission is investigating the possibility of using larger football's next season because the average NFL players is getting bigger every year. The idea is that the ball is now getting too small & the NFL is afraid that the game is more likely to become an organised nerf-ball competition.

They modelled the new ball on the program:



and the Steelers were the first to take it on the practice field. Unfortunately, Jeremy Bloom was injured in a freak accident...



It seems the NFL has a way to go yet.

The Patriots complained to the Commissioner that when they are videotaping they often lose sight of the ball because it is too small. They asked the Commissioner if it's possible to use white or a neon color on the ball and he flat out refused. However, because he loves the Patriots and every thing they stand for he wanted to help them out, in their crisis, so they met in the middle and proposed using a bigger ball.

Chadman had invited Chavezz because he remembered Chavezz to be a solid poster that could either add a quality post about football, or at the worst raise a smile with his (somewhat backward hick) sense of humour.

Based on what Chadman has seen from Chavezz so far, it seems he has gotten by on other boards on the backs of other solid posters.

New nickname for Chavezz- "Latern"- not too bright, has to be carried.
