Or something like that. I've noticed it several times now, but there's been a time or two when I didn't.

I'll see if I can explain this the best I can: You type up a post, hit submit and get this message that states something to the effect of "there's been a post in this thread something something something" and unless you catch it and hit submit again your post doesn't make it.

I'll try to paste it in here the next time it happens.

I would like to request that this be disabled, if possible. Especially as the season draws near and the posting becomes much more frequent. Imagine typing up a rather lengthy post only to have it be lost due to missing that little warning...that would suck!

It's a timing thing. You have to be posting in a thread and someone else submits a post between the time you click "post reply" and "submit". If you don't catch it your post goes bye-bye.

Believe me, this is going to happen a lot in game threads or during hot topics once things get going.

I'm not sure if they have a mod for this yet. I am not aware of the bug but if you have the exact error message than I can google it and see if theres a fix for it.

I don't think it's an error, but rather a feature. Kind of like, "You were about to say something but someone else has said something since you typed your reply so maybe it changes what you were going to say."

Next time it happens I'll do a cut and paste here.

It happened this morning...I posted in the Madden thread slightly after rpm...here's the message that appears:
