    Good Special Teams Article

I think this was the subject of a thread last week on the Trib board (another example of their writers plundering message boards? ) Anyway...a good read.

"I hate him. Everybody says I'm supposed to be polite when I talk to you all, but I hate him..." "He talks too much, he doesn't make sense, he's fat, he's sloppy, he acts like he's the best thing since sliced bread. He's ugly, he stinks, his mouth stinks, his breath stinks, and basically his soul stinks, too.

"Not too many people have personalities like that and survive in life. I don't know how he does it."

    Re: Good Special Teams Article

Tomlin was right when he talked about needing a "Core 4" to lead the special teams. Good special teams are usually a result of good talent and depth not schemes. The problem that the Steelers have been having is a direct result of their lack of depth at key positions such as LB and DB. Andre Frazier and Arnold Harrison aren't ever going to play regular in this league and LBs should be studs on your STs.

It seems that picking up Fox and Humpal and Mundy in the draft they were thinking the STs need to get better. Let's hope they figure it out soon.
Playing Fantasy Football does not qualify you to be the in the front office or on the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are professionals and you are not!

    2014 Draft

    1. Eric Ebron, TE
    2. Calvin Pryor, S
    3 (Comp). Jaylen Watkins, CB
    4. Justin Ellis, DT/NT
    5a. Brandon Coleman, WR
    5b. Brent Urban, DE
    6. Prince Shembo, OLB
    7a. Aaron Colvin, CB
    7b. Storm Johnson, RB

I was coming back on to post it. I thought with NKy out of town I might be able to slip one in.

    The dreaded S.T.
Five close game back-breakers, I'm thinking that with all these new guys we got coming in this year we have gone a little heavy with the ones who are possibly going to return the ball and light on who is going to stop the return.

I probably sound like a broken record on this subject... but IMO Tomlin had a chance to look like a ST genius.

He had an opportunity to bring Chidi back into the fold last season...

    Another AS masterpiece.
