James Harrison is gone
Not to be mean but how does she know Marukice hit her? I can't tell the twins apart. Maybe they were wearing shirts with their names on them??
I think this is why they valued him. He replaces Stevenson Sylvester in terms of backing up both spots and being a special teams guy.
I would've liked to see an OLB taken at some point, but I guess the value just wasn't there
He instantly improves special teams. Value was there for him apparently.
OLBs too. I still can't believe that they didn't draft one
CB, OLB, WR, DB, OT, TE
Desir, S. Barrett, D. Street, B. Vereen, Hendersen, Branchflower
I think he was an All-American in 2012. Had some injuries this year though
I can't remember where but I read that Timmons was pushing 250lbs last season
Makes me sad. I wanted to see Shayne Skov in the Black and Gold
Maybe this makes Nix a target in the 2nd
With no trades...
He also had Aaron Smith, Brett Keisel and Ziggy Hood in front of him. There are no entrenched starters at the other DE postion this year. If they can get a guy like Tuitt in the 2nd who played 3-4 DE...
If there isn't really any talent in the system I think a rookie has a chance at playing...look at Jarvis
Curtis Brown is the biggest disappointment for me... I remember watching his game film when we drafted him and I was ecstatic that he lasted until the 3rd.
I was high on the guy at the start of the draft process but after watching some of his games he gets beat a lot... Louisville vs. UCF and Cinci. He was responsibly for four TDs in those games.
With no trades I would go with this...
1. Kyle Fuller – CB – Virginia Tech –6/200
2. Stephon Tuitt – DE – Notre Dame –6-5/300
3. Donte Moncrief – WR – Ole Miss –6-3/ 220
4. Carlos Fields Jr. –...
With who was available I would go
1. Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
2. Stephon Tuitt, DE/DT, Notre Dame
3. Donte Moncrief, WR, Ole Miss
4. Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford
5. Ross Cockrell, CB,...
I agree that football strength and weight room strength are different things. And I understand that there have been guys who are extremely strong that fail in the NFL. This started because I said I...
Harrison is/was known for his weight room work ethic. IIRC JJ isn't known for loving the weight room. BP numbers can show if a guy spends time in the weight room. If they spend time in the weight...
James ran a 5.2 forty at his pro day...but did 28 bench reps
I heard there was some kind of scheduling issue at first. But now it's always going to be in May. Roger is just being roger
If I remember right Timmons worked his way onto the field at the end of his rookie year. Help from rookie at the end could push you deeper into the playoffs.
Great to hear!!
