    Re: Senior Bowl Weigh-in notes

Mardy Gillyard measured "shorter" as well (5'11 1/2 instead of 6'1). 1 1/2 inches is a lot of height to lose. Might have dropped him a round.

BTW, jump on the Iupati bandwagon now. Bulldozer...

  3. Re: Great Blue North Report 2010 1st Round Projection

I like Pouncey in Round 2. In fact, if the first 4 rounds went down as you project in your sig mock (Thomas, Pouncey, Troup, and Gerhart), would be very satisfied with that.[/quote]

  4. Re: Great Blue North Report 2010 1st Round Projection

Iuputi will be a stud in the NFL. Maybe not your biggest need but I don't think you guys would be unhappy after you see him play.

Not a bad draft for Seattle if it goes down this way. Matt...
  5. Re: OT: At least the Steelers aren't the only team that wins

Vikes were getting similar calls earlier in the game. The PI in the end zone, the "Roughing the passer" call on Favre, the "late hit" on Favre.

The difference in calls against the Saints compared...

    Re: Dexter McCluster

Harvin also runs a few times up the middle...

I don't buy the size argument. I watched Dunn a lot and he was tiny... no amount of definition in the world can protect you from a 300 lb defender.....

    Re: Dexter McCluster

McCluster like Harvin will turn into a full time receiver who ever so often runs an end around. Or takes a direct snap in a wild cat like formation.

Either way, If he's available after the 3rd...

Re: Who Will We Pick @ #1?

I think if Iuputi is still on the board when you guys pick, it would be tough for the Steelers to pass on him. A Huge run blocking guard like him would fit nicely into Rooney's plans of getting back...

    Re: Draft Predictions...

Just looked back at this thread and realized I hit correctly on 3 picks and in the correct rounds as well.

    Andre Smith in the 1st
    Bernard Scott in the 6th
    Fui Vakapuna in the 7th

    Man my team...

    Re: Thoughts on WR's...

I'm hoping the Bengals go after all three of the following:

Jermaine Gresham, TE 6?6 258 lbs.
Demaryius Thomas, WR 6?3 229 lbs.
Danario Alexander, WR 6?5 215 lbs.

    Imagine trying to stop...

Re: Mel Kiper's first 9 Mock Draft Selections

J.D. Walton out of Baylor is not bad at all. I watched the Baylor/Nebraska game just to see how he would stack up against Suh and Nebraska's other dominate DT (Whose name eludes me at the moment).

Sergio Kindle is projected to go in the 3rd round now?

Re: You make the call - draft day trade.

I would (If I were the Steelers that is).
