I thought the Jags lost the game when they punted on that 4th and 1/2 a yard with good field position.
That's an excellent point!
I was thinking the same thing. The old cliche that you can call holding on every play doesn't apply I guess....
So fire him then. IDGAF. I'm over the loss. I don't let the outcome of Steelers games affect my life anymore. I'm a fan. I celebrate when they win and I hate when they lose...but there's more to life...
Orchestrates an exit, goes to the Pats, and wins a ring.
Go Vikings or Eagles! Preferably Vikings!!!!!
The top QB, top WR, and top RB didn't give up all those points to the Jags. A few of them, but not the bulk of them.
That's right. Just not enough time to make that adjustment. The game is way too fast.
I'm just living...how you doing man?
Same. I understand trying to make the game more safe, but some things are simply unavoidable.
I disagree. As maniac pointed out, his shoulder hit first and the head carried over. That kind of stuff is unavoidable.
That's been my point since, like 2008 or 2009. When was the CBA signed again? And when did Harrison single-handedly destroy the Browns?
The Steelers are one of the most profitable teams in the league.
I don't want people in a board room making personnel decisions. Even if I agree with them.
He's lined up to hit Gronk in the chest with his shoulder. In slow motion it looks like he has all the time in the world to adjust as Gronk is going down. In real life speed it doesn't work like...
They should maybe look back a bit further than the last 5 years and get an understanding for how consistency has made us the winningest franchise since the merger.
The flag on that Jags defender is exactly why NFL ratings are down. He lined up the hit with his shoulder. Defenders simply can not defy the laws of gravity and physics even though that's what the...
I think life long Steelers fan & spoiled are interchangeable. And I include myself in that statement since I'm...a life long Steelers fan. :tt2
This is good for us too...I mean I know the Browns stink but we'll now have their offensive playbook since
Haley. Never. Changes.
I'm not a fan of them from any team. I think they're foolish and over the top.
But what's sillier than the celebrations is alerts from Yahoo, ESPN, NFLN and so on *about so and so's TD celebration.
This is as far as I needed to read this thread. Bulls-eye. Steelers fans really are incredibly spoiled. Never had a losing season. 6 division titles. 2 super bowl appearances with 1 win. 13-3 record....
I agree. I'm sure Ben knew and then said he'd return. I think he'll at least play out his contract now.
Ben has a couple of years left and RF has a GREAT relationship with him. I remember reading about his history of play calling in Memphis. This makes me happy.
Ben was at the golf tournament. End of story.
Plenty of laughs while reading though all that
And yeah DJ...stay home! :wink::tt2
Muchas gracias!
And I wish it were under better circumstances too.....
Never had a losing season...but sure...fire him....
Thanks all!
