If tempers/egos get out of control with Haley and anybody, Coach T is the perfect guy to reel bring them back down to earth. I'm cautiously optimistic with Haley being part of the team.

I think we can win this game. Not confindent about going into next week against Baltimore or New England. A strong showing this week will boost my hopes for next week.

It's going to be a loooooooooooooong week at work day dreaming about this match-up.
When Troy leaves, LeBeau must leave. Because he can not coach without Troy in this era of football.
Great point. Troy may of extended LeBeau's tenure by 5 or 6 years.
The conversation at the Steeler table I was at today was that Troy might very well be "the most valueable Steeler ever".
On a side note the 9ers have the rats after a short week :D
But the Steelers play SF on week 15, which means the 49ers will probably have clinch division and second seed by then. No reason...
If Baltimore beats the 49ers tonight, we will have a hard time winning the division. However, the Ravens have a hard time winning following a big win this year. They play at Cleveland next week.

At first I thought this too, but this Sunday the Jets play on Sunday night and then play the Bronco's four days later.
I really hope the Steelers/Bungals doesn't get flexed. I got Guns N Roses...
Not that it means anything, but he has my support on his choice to sit out.

Shocking & hiliarious at the same time!
I agree with you. I'm also in a position in my profession where I have to make and enforce rules. The flood gates open for future occurances if you let him slide. Troy could of had a low level...
Harbaugh's are very easy to dislike.
Your #2 & #3 points is what I think the big difference was.

All great points you bring up. Our D Line played well today too & didn't get pushed around. It might be time to move A. Smith & Hampton down on the depth chart.
Look at our schedule.....we have home games against the Pats & Baltimore that will be hard. Every other game is very winnable. Hopefully were playing our worst football & can get into a grove by...
Tommie Harris being cut by the Colts is a surprise. He has played well in the preseason and the Colts are week on the DL.

Not to sound like a turd in the cool whip, but is he doing this against the 1st or 2nd team? I'm not able to see the game.
Sounds like an awesome play! I look forward to seeing the highlight.

I may be there as well. We have friends with excellent Colts season tickets and dh asked if we could get them for the game. So far, we haven't heard back from either guy, but I'm hoping atleast one...
I hope Macho Harris can bring something to the table and be a factor -just based on his name.

I'm thinking about going this game. Cincy is about 3 hours away from me. If this game is going to be as big of a mismatch as I hope it will end up being, I will probably save my cash and watch it...
I've been busy this year my friend! That countdown took alot of work. My availablity in the mornings to update the thread everyday isn't what it was in years past. If you'd like to start it, were...

Mel Blount deserves some consideration. In many opinions, he is the best CB ever. Without him, we may of not had 4 SB in the 70's & he was such a force they had to name a rule after him -The Mel...
