I don't know which games those are going to be worn, but all I can say is, we better win.

Losing in those outfits would make it twice as bad.

I don't understand all of the angst & anger about Wallace not signing his tender. His contract situation is a negotiation between himself & the Steelers - if he signs the tender, he loses what...

Why does he have to play Hampton's style? A more penetrating style could be effective, like Chris Hoke played. It could be an interesting combination of skills, as Ziggy is quicker & more mobile...
  4. Re: Draft Picks you would like Steelers to take....

Here's my take on a couple of these lower round guys--

I live in SW Ohio and saw Brandon Brooks from Miami play 6 times, 4 live & 2 times on TV. He is a physical specimen, built very much like...
  5. Re: Damn, its a great time to need an ILB in the draft

No comments on the kid from BC, Kuechly?

Just wondering, he's a local kid from here in Cincinnati and the local rag had a big piece on him 2-3 weeks ago. I've never seen him play, but he's...

Re: OT: Penn State trustees fire Joe Paterno

I've been thinking about this for a while, and your post sort of clarified something for me.

I'm not a Penn State alum, but my Dad is. Based on that, and the fact that I grew up in Pittsburgh, I...

    Re: Ben and No Huddle

I know the no-huddle has advantages regarding substitution and pace for the offense, but the biggest reason I prefer it is that Ben calls the plays. He seems to have a much better feel for the flow...
  8. Re: Steelers' McLendon hopes he's moved into regular role

Damn, I can't tell you how many people say this same thing about his weight. That was his college weight. He is 300 and over now. Does this look like 280 lbs?

  9. Re: Trade Deadline Next Week-A suggestion that isn't Aaron C

I'll bet its been a while since McLendon has seen 280. He's clearly bigger than that now, I'll bet he's 300+.

The three turnovers were not problems with the O-line, they were three bad decisions by Ben, playing against Freeney and Mathis there has to be a clock in your head that tells you it's time to give...

Re: Gerry: Troy's Achilles was a problem

I guess you could be right, maybe he wasn't hurt at all. He probably wore that giant metal shoe on his right foot as a fashion statement.

Re: Gerry: Troy's Achilles was a problem

I agree, this certainly isn't a surprise to anyone who watched the playoffs. I think the same thing can be said for Ben, he wasn't anywhere close to 100%, either.

  16. Re: Anyone have film on Jonathan Scott's big bad error?

This is one of the more frustrating things to me about the Steeler's offense, improper use of personnel.

Why they ask these guys to work outside their skillset is beyond me. Our linemen are BIG,...

I love Ward, but he's not the player that either Swann or Stallworth was. If 88 & 82 played in today's NFL, their stats would be exponentially greater. Hines has always been an extremely dependable...

Re: Bad Loss But Not A Disaster

Exactly! Don't just pick the one play where they would've won the game, the Sander's drop took place first. He catches that, he's still running.

Wake up and smell the coffee. This was a terrible loss. The Ratbirds won, and have tied us for division lead. Carolina isn't a gimme. Not after the way our offense has been playing, and the way our...

Record of series at Heinz Field:

    Steelers 5 wins
    Bungals 4 wins

It's certainly not like the Steelers "own" them at home.
