True, but Hines didn't have to shed blocks every play he was on the field. I hope this guy has a standout career with the Steelers but his injury history has to be taken into account.

Personally, I think the Bo Nix and McCarthy picks turned the draft on its head and those picks had some unintended consequences (all good for the Steelers) down stream.
Pappy
I was hoping for a triple dip on the Wilsons and thought they might add Johnny to Payton and Roman. :p
Pappy
LOL is right and WR is probably correct as well.
Pappy
That would be nice if he lasts another 10 picks or so, Devontez Walker is out there as well.
Pappy
The second pick made the first pick very, very good. Had they selected a WR, DT or CB probably good choices but the first pick would have been a head scratcher now the first pick looks fantastic.

Wouldn't moving him to RT be the same as moving him to center? It's a position he's never played. At this point, Jones did good at RT, put Fautanu at LT and roll for 10 years with bookend tackles....
Just a little LOL for the draft, follow the link below and get a chuckle when you read the Browns rating. :brownssuck You can't make this ish up. :p
...
Fautanu is not a pure right tackle, he's a left tackle, the Steelers drafted the best or near the best left tackle in the draft last year so you have to think that they see Fautanu as a guard or...
ESPN showed highlights of him playing guard and tackle but also mentioned he can play center.
Pappy
I would prefer something closer to a sure thing than a 4th round sleeper pick but that's just me. I'm a guy that thinks center is the most important position on the offensive line and when the...
I don't know about predictions but imo, if the Steelers don't have Frazier, Barton, Powers-Johnson or Van Pran-Granger on the roster after this draft its a fail
As things stand right now if...
My thoughts are that there is no way the Steelers should come out of this draft without a guy that is a potential starter at center for the next 7-10 years. They want to recommit to running the ball...
Actually, those were failback plans (and they failed), lets get a real center and just be done with it for 7-10 years.
Pappy
The Texans don't have 1st round pick, I wonder if they think they are 1 player away from competing for the SB? They might be willing to move up and give up some of their draft capital (I think they...
I'd take Fuaga in the first and JPJ in the second. Taking Arnold could put the Steelers in the position of having 2 very good cornerbacks looking for big second contracts in consecutive years. I...
The good news is that the chances of Olu slipping to 1.20 are slim and none, so no conversion necessary.
Pappy
Any of these combinations of players could be available at 1.20. Who do you take in each scenario? Why? Plans or hopes for round 2? My options in red.
Mims (OT), JPJ (OC), Murphy (DT) JPJ,...
ROTFLMAO, the sarcasm here made me almost spit out a mouthful of water. What could possibly go wrong drafting a guard and playing him at center?
Pappy
Unfortunately, where the Steelers are drafting and where the centers are rated doesn't look good for the Steelers. Powers-Johnson won't make it to 20, Frazier won't make it to 51 and Van...
I like the way you think! :tt2:Cheers Drafting a quarterback to be the future with Wilson and Fields seems like a waste of a pick, unless the quarterback is a project late in the draft, #178 or #195...
I'm hoping for OT and OC in rounds 1 and 2, then WR at #84, I don't like grabbing skill players so early, particularly WRs they seem to be coming out of college on a conveyor belt ready to go in the...
Hopefully, the Tyler Boyd acquisition can get done, then the Steelers would be ready for the draft to fall as it may.
Pappy
In your mock draft you forgot to remove the second round pick and the 4th round pick that you traded to get Nix. If we move up from 20 to 9 there won't be as much draft capital to work with.
