You trying to upset the board? Lol. DK, post combine, received quite a bit of hate on here because of his slow 3 cone time.. and durability issues in college. He supposedly had bust written all over...
Bell had elite numbers for 4-5 years... with an Elite workload. Hall of famers are "Elite, Generational talents." Bell's not a Hall of Famer.
That and the league has largely become a running back by committee league. You dont see very many, if any... guys getting Bell's 2013 to 2017 workload these days..
I guess wed have to define "Elite, generational talent"...
I agree with just about everything else youve said though... other than signing him again.
He says hes there to "Win championships"...
And its highly likely that a long term plan was discussed at their meeting that was said to have last "Several hours". I dont think they let KP8 go if...
Wouldnt mind seeing Huntley as the #2.
And then the Hartman kid out of ND for a day 3 pick
Id feel better about it if MR was still on the roster. Im guessing at this point he wishes he would've held out another week or two on signing..
Maybe we'll acquire Fields with the Eagles 3rd..
I think it means acquiring Justin Fields is back on the table... maybe with the Philly/KP 3rd round pick..
Maybe.. but it also means i know more about him than most.
If Frazier wasnt a 1st round talent.. id tell you.. lol
By itself.. you could see it as that.. adding context though... Bell has been open about wanting another shot in Pittsburgh.
Thats a steal for an "Elite, generational talent"
Haha.. theres no frustration on my part where Bell is concerned. More humor in anything... in the close to 240 pages of this thread of "I told you so's"... of previous correct predictions coming to...
Pretty much what happened.
100%........
That play is on 3 guys actually. #1. Adams for not working through his gap prior to flowing to the ball.. #2. Elandon Roberts for the same thing.. he had weak side A, B gap responsibility on that...
Frazier is a local kid that Ive met and followed for years.. this pick is a no brainer...
If hes there you take him at 20 and not have to worry about the center position for the next 10 years. ...
Such a shame to see it play out the way it did... dude leaves the best thing that ever happens to him.. immediately falls off a cliff production wise... admits to screwing up... and now is begging...
The Steelers arent getting a 2nd or 3rd for KP8. Not even close. Makes zero sense to trade him
I thought Holcomb was solid before the injury.
Rudolph would cost exponentially more than Wilson...
And idk a 9 time pro bowler "In decline".. is still levels above where weve been at the QB in several years...
Kinda makes you wonder whats going on in Pit.. when the "Weakest link" in our OL goes elsewhere and is now considered a top Guard in the league..
I see the position as a whole being downgraded...because i think Mason will receive an offer elsewhere that allows him to compete for a starting job...
I think id rather build the way we are... especially with our 2023 draft success
Not for what it would cost to acquire him...
