It was an instagram post with no other info. You might search the author's account if interested.
Just eyeballing it, it looks like increasing attempts leads to better % catchable. Burrows barely made the cut on attempts last season.
Smith is an old school run-first OC. It's a dream day at the office for a RB.
Gotta like where Wilson landed on this plot;

(in case you were looking for KP, he didn't make the cut with <20 pass...
Pitts had more targets than the Steelers WR2, and ATL TEs had more than double the targets than PIT TEs.

You have to ask the question; were the same holes there for Harris and he just took the wrong cuts or maybe he simply doesn't have the vision like Warren?
Fichnter inherited a Haley offense, improved it a little, then the scoring tanked his last two seasons.
Another Falcons cast off,..... I'm shocked. No, flabbergasted they could grab such a talent.
Few can argue the fact that Tomlin's biggest flaw as a HC is the inability to find a legitimate OC to run the offense. This year he (or was it Rooney) went out and got a guy with an actual pedigree...
So the Steelers finished with a 10-7 record and a wildcard and are excluded from the lottery, but JAX and IND finishing 9-8 get in, with a potential for the #1 pick?
Doesn't seem very equitable.
And why do you suppose the Steelers decreased the number of rush attempts for the 'better back' and increased them for Warren?
RushAtts

InsideRuns(yds/atta)...
At that salary he would be the highest paid WR on the Steelers by more than 3X.
Looking at some info on the ATL vs PIT offense last season it occurs to me that not optioning Harris' may have nothing to do with money.
It could very well be the case that NH is a bad scheme fit...
So when does a 'good thing' become not a good thing? This Steelers team is close to that point if they can't make the post season and get a win or two.
And I am not suggesting Tomlin will be...
In any previous season I would agree but this offseason feels different. Tomlin had more 'heat' on him last season than he has had since he started. So much so that they made a very rare change at OC...
Very unusual moves thus far this season; one year QB room rental, no extension for Tomlin in sight, declining Harris' 5th year option, no reworking of Watt's or Heyward's contract, and a current...
Yea. That crossed my mind as well. I guess this is the second try at the grand experiment. The positive side is the Steelers are doing it a whole lot cheaper.
Stop redirecting. You said he doesn't want to play without insurance and I just showed he had that insurance.... and has it for this season as well.
He's on his own to find that insurance for 2025...
Uh, don't hold your breathe for 4 or 5 receiver sets in Smith offense when he rarely even runs 3 receivers.
I think Sneed for KC was a 3rd or 4th round CB and he's pretty good.
Doing it without insurance? Harris' entire rookie contract was guaranteed.... a guaranteed millionaire before ever playing a down. Ask someone like Pacheco how unfair Harris has it.

Two out of the four weeks DJ was out Pickens had over 100 yards receiving and one other he had 75 yards. He can do it if he gets the targets DJ was getting.
Injuries are always a factor. But this isn't an offense driven by WRs. In fact you could make a case that WRs are mostly decoys in this offense. For that, just resign Allen Robinson for vet minimum....
