Hitting our 2 most glaring needs early would be excellent. The value picks of Heuerman and Sample in the middle rounds where those 2 imho will both be solid starters one day even if they aren't stars...
A bit sad but Ike's skill set wasn't the same anymore. Glad he was a Steeler and a great 4th round pick. I hope we can find another 4th rounder like him in this draft.
Per Kobaly Jeff Heuerman in today. His 13 tape better then 14 but he was used differently in 14. Good upside for a likely mid rounder with a solid all around game. Not much not to like about this guy.
I'm all for the nasty as long as the nasty is only between the white lines. That Commissioner hands out suspensions like candy.
Kozora tweeted it but Steelers Depo still has an article up written by Dave Bryan about Grant in for a visit.
Grant OSU corner in for visit. He could be a good value pick. Excellent speed and if we go corner twice he may be on the radar.
It never goes the way we think it should. Lake was however at Washington pro day today.
Pro day a year back looked fine. 6'1.3 255 4.63 1.64 10 yd split 34 reps. All comes down to bouncing back from the 2 major surgeries. He is a olb for us. Made a lot of tackles when he was healthy....
True that of late 2nd round has been where backs drop to but Gurley is so talented I see him going in the 1st.
Ruthless knock it out of the park grand slam scenario 22 trade down to 24 so Arizona can draft a stud runner and we grab a mid rounder and still get a Dupree or who knows perhaps Gregory is why the...
McShay is high on Armstead and that is fine. Give it a week and his next mock will have us picking someone else. I hope he is right that Dupree,Collins,Johnson and Peters are all on the board when we...
If Gregory is there at 22 and we pick him then you know Colbert n Tomlin did their homework so I would be fine with it. Risk reward guy who could be very special.
Thanks Shawn always appreciate your input. Was that fracture the reason this guy didn't play more?
Does anyone know how bad was his foot injury? 1st round falling talent 2 years in a row with foot injuries landed in the 2nd. We would be fortunate if it fell that way again.
It never hurts to kick the tires. Put the work in and see how it shakes out.
DHB can bring it on special teams we all saw that a year ago. Veteran who could be a #4 or #5 receiver. Decent price I say pay the man.
Now we can draft 2 Chippewas in the 6th Walton n Davis. He have been very fortunate with the 6th round so lets hope that continues.
I would have no problem kicking the tires. In 13 we had his brother in camp.
Like Tomlin or Colbert would tip their hand to Kaboly. Besides their board isn't set yet.
I believe players with medical flags are more likely to go in round 2 where if you gamble and loose you...
We may have medical red flag on him. That knee has had multiple surgeries.
That's a good point. Porter was so intense at camp last year and he was always barking out instructions. Back on backers he was getting the max out of the drill. Perhaps in 15 the combo of his...
I agree with all of that but I want James at camp from day one. Young lb's get to see what it takes work wise to be successful.
I like Smith as he is quick and uses his hands well in getting off the los however I don't think he has ever played standing up. He fits best to me in a 4-3 front.
I like it. 6th round Chippewas makes a nice touch. Got to admit I had to look at the Virginia game to have any opinion on Brown. His feet do say guard.
Collins I know isn't 6'3 and doesn't run 4.4...
