The curse strikes again.
Triceps injury reported.
Somewhat said he missed the whole last season with a triceps injury.
Did we do our due diligence?
We minimized risk. AZ paid most of his salary.
Assuming he's out for a while (and Tomlin PC suggested the possibility of a serious injury), do we start going through the Couch Brigade files again? Who else would be available? I don't feel comfortable going the rest of the season with only Whimper and Adams as our backups, not with our OL injury history for the past 3-4 years.
If he is badly hurt I bet Starks does come back.
so let me get this straight. we can't keep healthy o-linemen in the game this year. add in some terrible play from adams, bring in the new guy - and yet tomlin (as usual) decides to dress only 7 linemen?????
all things being equal, i'm sure that's the right move - but based on what's happened this year and the sad state of this line, how can they not dress 8?
and of course the new guy goes down in warmups. only a miracle we got through that game without losing anyone else.
i'm not a tomlin critic or even a hater. but that is a bonehead move.
How does one get hurt in warm ups...? Unbelievable.
In 2012 he tore his tricep and it's the same one he hurt yesterday. He missed all of 2012 with the injury but had played in all of the games with AZ this year prior to the trade. Did anyone see if Gilbert fell on his arm? Or was it DeCastro that dove into it?
Tomlin has said it's a "potentially major" injury (so is David Johnson's left wrist).

This makes you mad. It feels lik we obviously didn't do our due diligence. But it also feels like we were duped, by the player and the other team, to a small degree... when this guy can't even make it through a pregame warmup without hurting himself. He sounds like me.
