Anyone catching the SF-STL game is witnessing what an aging left tackle gives you on offense and it ain't pretty. And for those that might be thinking it's gotta be better than what the Steelers got, think again.

I'm catching the 2nd half, and I don't see him. He must've got pulled... When you have a guy that our O-line couldn't use starting, it speaks volumes about the state of your line.
Well, despite the number of times Ive called him Fatt Maxx, I don't wish the man any ill will. He WAS a valuable contributor for us in seasons past.

You are looking at it all wrong. He WAS our best tackle BY FAR LESS THAN A YEAR AGO.
Our younguns arent CLOSE to what he was on our team.
Look at WHAT A SCRUB he is on a BAD TEAM!!!!
What does THAT SAY about the state of OUR line?
him only play for ben.. he love big ben..

Wow, Captain Lemming, are you, like, Perry Mason or Albert Einstein or something??
Nicely put!
No, no, no.... Starks would still be the best tackle on our team.... or maybe Ben plays harder with a friend on the OL.
I always was a Starks fan. However...He Once was but he no longer is or would be. That would answer almost every statement-question in here. Looks like his knees are breaking down. My hats off to him & his great career.

we didn't treat him the best but he was a pretty good LT. However, looking at him this preseason he looked slow and lost out there. There is a reason he didn't stick with SD and was benched in St. Louis last night.
Our young OL are (supposedly) on the upswing, while Max is clearly riding the down curve...
The young guys can still improve...Max cannot...
