I'm perfectly okay with this signing!
I would have rather kept Hoyer around. Jason Campbell IMO is better than Gradkowski also.
Our whole attitude now seems to be hire every out of work Pittsburgher.
Charity begins at home people.
Haluski, Halupki, Keilbasa and Gradkowski seem to fit.....its all good people:D
I have a feeling that Gradkowski is viewed as a #2.........Only until the draft choice comes around.

Campbell may be marginally better but is likely significantly more expensive.
Ben has a franchise qb level deal, and deservedly so. Part of the tradeoff in paying a franchise qb is that you have to cut costs in other areas, and that includes the backup qb.
Still need to draft a QB with some upside, not an UDFA. Someone with potential.

I am also. The guy gives 1000% when he is on the field. I too remember the game he led a comeback against us. I thought he was going to make an impact in this league but then he got hurt and I don't think he has gotten another real chance.
He won't get to play against our 4th quarter defense if we are paying him.
I like this move. This is an upgrade over what we had, and a step in the right direction at the position. I hope they draft a mid round QB to groom as the #3.
