My wife poops out kids like they are going out of style and most of them look like me. Can I get a week's vacation?
LOL! I hate when my wife poops out kids. :)
PS: I totally agree with Ben on this one.
I agree with Ben. I am still mad at myself with the birth of my second daughter that, I did not remain at the hospital after she was born. My daughter was born with DownSyndrom and I was in shock ! I was angry with myself and God and I thought I must have done something wrong in my life for this to happen. I didn't even hold my daughter because I felt I failed her. I stuck around for a while and I walked out stunned and went back to work. Two hours later I gathered myself up and I went back to the hospital. My wife was okay with it all and knew I was really leaving to cry my eyes out.
I agree that not every birth goes like clock work and you should be there. On the other hand if this is the playoffs then, Ben needs to play football. They can afford a cam cord and if not, I'm sure the Pariots have one or two they can borrow.
I don't like the fact that Ben makes these comments and then doesn't tell anyone when they believe the baby will be due. Seems more like the drama stuff he likes to stir up.
I can respect this... but I wish she had that kid when we had the SF game last year.... lol

:D good stuff !
Hi I'm Ford fixer and I support Ben in this decision. Thank you:tt1:tt1
I only regret that I wasn't there for the birth of my stepson, whom I was blessed enough to meet shortly there after. There have been many times I want to be there as I escort him out of this world, so I wish I had been there to escort him in.
I do have some experience with schedules and births that might help Ben out. If anyone knows him, feel free to pass this along.
During my active duty military days I was scheduled for a PCS (permanent change of station) to a new base. Unfortunately my wife was within 4 weeks of delivery and the military doctors wouldn't let us move until we had the baby. We tried the walks, the bumpy roads, something called scraping the membrane (yuck) - no effect. When I thought all hope was lost the doctor sat me down and said 'son, there's one fullproof way outside of drugs to induce labor, have sex every day'.
It only took 6 days straight of 9 month pregnant sex but labor did indeed begin. Dear god...........the horror of that week lives with me still.
If I were Ben, I'd just miss the damn game.

Ha ! Ha ! That's what my friends father used to say to him. " I brought you into this world and I can take you out of this world. "
Okay her's another question or right to the point. What if it is the playoffs or the Super Bowl ? Do you guys still think Ben should miss these games ? Or just a regular season game we need to win to gain our only chance for the playoffs or to win the division ?
