Ex-NFL GM Says
According to Bill Polian, the 2013 NFL draft has only 10-12 true first round talents. The historical average is 15-20. No wonder there is so much talk of teams wanting to trade down. Who wants to pay 1st rd money to a guy that legitimately should be drafted much later?

The only good thing is the deals at 17-32 are pretty minuscule. Still sucks though.

1st round mo eh is a lot less then it used to be with the rookie cap in place now

I have really enjoyed listening to the insight Polian and Scott Pioli have given on some of the shows this year. Tons better than your regular analysts. Charlie Casserly on the other hand, not so good imo.

Regardless of how many "first-round picks" there are, at 17, we will be in position to draft one of them.
