So the bench mark for a successful GM is to hit on UDFA? Seriously? Right now we have Golden on the roster with some promise.

Last year they got Golden, Robinson and Butler. 2009 gave them Foster, Redman and McClendon. Patrick Bailey and Darnell Stapelton were 2008.
Not to mention Legursky...
He was good at center...not so much at OG...

Was responding to Steeler_fan_in_t.o.'s earlier post saying we pick up UDFA better than anyone. I said, who? The names mentioned above are hardly proof we have such great success with UDFA. Legursky and McLendon have been decent backups thats about it and I would make the assumption almost every other team in the league has one or two UDFA contribute in some modest way each year. The point I was making is we 'used to' hit on UDFA. Not so much the past half decade.
The only thing the media is whispering is spring is here, but we still continue to see snow almost everyday:mad:
cant blame colbert for not developing, motivating or preparing the prospects that were drafted

You also can't blame subpar talent they were evaluated wrong and picked in the wrong rounds, or at all.
Not 100% sure what UDFA is referring to... but, if it means Undrafted Free Agent...
Will Johnson for sure. Arguably the most productive rookie of last year's class

which unfortunately doesn't say a lot about the performance of last year's rookie draft class.
