I think Ben has one of the Top 5 receiving groups in the NFL when Heath is healthy. Not a bad option. I really think by the end of the year Wheaton is going to be tearing it up and when you have Cotchery as your #4 that is a pretty deep group.
OMG, are you serious? Wishful thinking or rose colored glasses?
If they are deep, then why not play 4 WR the whole game? I doubt our starting 2 WRs are in the top 10 now.
I would take it a step further- Flacco is a VERY AVERAGE regular season QB.
I would take it a step further- Manning was not impressive his SB year save for his comeback on the Pats. His passing during the SB run was even worse than his typical playoff choke. He won running the ball and great defense like WE USED TO DO.
Peyton is BY FAR the biggest chocker in football PERIOD. This is because HE IS SUCH A GREAT regular season QB his chokes are greater.
We for example have had NOD and Kordell choke in a playoff game as have MANY QBs, but they are not ALL TIME GREATS. Kordell can have an off day on any week. Peyton requires post season pressure to choke. Heck he was a choker AT TENNESSEE while in college.
If Manning of the regular season showed up in the playoffs every year he would laugh at Bradshaws mere FOUR rings as a joke. He would have surpassed Terry long ago.
He IS the best choker of all time!!
He has a major supporting cast now with good defense and an outdoor stadium, etc.

Beat me to it... I think Flacco (besides last year) has been an average QB in the playoffs and relied on handing the ball and being the true definition of a game manager. I remember they won in Foxboro a few years ago and he only threw 10 or 11 passes.
Peyton is the greatest regular season QB to ever play the game. He is the Montana of the regular season.... and yes, his numbers during his SB playoff run were pedestrian.
At Tennessee... he couldn't beat Florida and he played stiff in every big game. This is why I always told people Eli would have the better career... partly because he is younger and had a chance to compete/chase his brother's game but also because he had less to work with at Ole Miss and really made an impact in the SEC when he was there. It wasn't anything special but for Ole Miss it was impressive.

OV, this statement is just plain crazy...
Atl - Julio, White, Gonzalez
Dallas - Bryant, Austin, Witten
New Orleans - Colston, Moore, Graham
Denver - Thomas, Welker, Decker, Thomas (TE)
Green Bay - Cobb, Nelson, Jones, Finley
Cincy - Green, Sanu, Gresham
Texans - Johnson, Hopkins, Daniels
You are taking what we hope out of Sanders and Wheaton and turning that into a value. Sanders has never started before and has a total of 1,290 yards and 5 TDs in three seasons. I like the steadiness of Cotch, but he has not surpassed 433 yards and 2 TDs in the last three years. Wheaton has never suited up in the NFL. While Brown had a great season two years ago, he was a disappointment last year.
I see where you are going with the optimism, but there is no way we can crown this group as anything other than a mystery in progress.

Ovi, I think you're being a little optimistic... Heath led our team in receiving yards last season, only ranking 36th in the league in that stat... I hope AB and Manny put up better numbers or we will have a long season.
