So now they can all get together and lament the loss of Alex Carrington & how their respective franchises are doomed to years of below-mediocrity as a result.
Afterwards they can build a campfire & console themselves by telling manly stories & making waffles.
Cool. We just moved to Pittsford from Toronto last August. Will be cool to try to get down to these practices in 2015.
Interesting thought.
Wouldn't it make hard knocks more interesting? Having practices where you visit another team seems cool and would make it different than previous installments.
It's not like the Bills don't meet the playoff criteria for the show.
Do other teams do this? I've never heard of such a thing. Sounds like a bad practice that could lead to collusion. Anyone else think this is goofy?
It just shows you that the NFL (as with all professional sports) is not about the games any longer, it's about entertainment. I think its weird and don't really know what to make of it. I'm sure that no real secrets will be passed back and forth, but it is kind of strange inviting an opponent into your training sessions.

We used to scheduled scrimmages against the Bills or Redskins back in the day. It provides an opportunity, when the guys are sick of hitting each other, to finally start hitting someone in a different color jersey. Keeps it interesting. Our offense gets the opportunity to practice against our own 3-4 defense as well as the Bills' 4-3 defense (as opposed to a taxi squad of our own players trying to simulate a 4-3).
Last year, the Patriots and Buccaneers held joint practices the week leading up to their preseason game...IIRC, Brady even sustained a minor knee injury...
This is great, especially for the oline....mario williams, dareus, williams.

Looking forward to Munchak working his magic here. Should be tremendous upgrade over the likes of Bicknell, Zeirlein, and Kugler. Best addition of the offseason by far.
